Sales System Review – This is a review of your current sales program and followed by a written report.  It is similar to an audit. In detail, I explore your current formal or informal sales strategies, sales team, sales and revenue metrics, competitive benchmarks, sales channel(s), sales process, sales tools, sales compensation, customer data management and sales management systems.  With this information I determine the health of your sales program and make some broad suggestions.

Sales Strategic & Tactical Plan – A detailed strategic and tactical sales plan for one year is written.  It includes the Sales System Review detailed above.  This plan will match company priorities with the actions of the sales team. It is comprised of:

  • Assumptions
  • SWOT analysis
  • Key Goals and Key Strategies
  • Strategies and Supporting Tactics
  • Estimated budget to implement the plan
  • Recommended sales compensation plan

Outsourced VP Sales – Here I act as your VP Sales on a part-time basis.  You get the expertise of an experienced, successful VP Sales without the investment in a full time VP.  As the leader of a small to medium sized company, you are competing against the resources companies 3, 4 or 20 times your size.  These companies have the advantage in that they have the revenue to fund high level sales teams and distribution channels.  You have a great product.  It can compete with the products of your larger competitors. You know that your revenues should be higher.  You may simply be getting outsold.  This program includes:

Marketing System Review – A review and analysis of all aspects of your marketing efforts including traditional media advertising, trade show participation, internet advertising, social media, lead generation, public relations, website, etc.  Essentially, an audit of your marketing efforts. A report is provided with suggestions for economic changes that will provide near term returns.
